Menuxl

www.menuxl.fr

a French creative production house that turns its homepage into one full-bleed video field, with small lowercase fragments of a sentence ("we imagine and craft cool stuff") scattered across the frame and one giant word punched through the middle in plain FK Grotesk.

Reference it for

  • Full-bleed video hero with the sentence broken into scattered fragments: tiny edge words against one oversized grotesque payload phrase.
  • Monochrome type-over-video discipline. Let the footage own all the colour, keep type black/white only (no brand palette declared).
  • A rough hand-drawn monogram (the scrawled "MXL") set against clean type for a human, anti-corporate counterpoint.
  • A restrained motion budget: opacity 0.15s linear plus ease-out-sine cubic-bezier(0.39, 0.575, 0.565, 1) colour swaps, nothing flashy.
  • A lean Nuxt + Prismic + Lenis + Splitting stack as a reference for a content-driven creative portfolio.

Do not copy

  • The scattered-sentence hero only works with genuinely strong full-frame footage behind it. On weak video it reads as empty.
  • The "MXL" scrawl is menuxl's mark. Reproduce the rough-monogram-against-clean-type idea with the client's own hand.
  • FK Grotesk Neue is licensed. Map to a neutral grotesque (Inter, Söhne-like) of similar plainness.
  • The near-empty layout assumes a production reel to fall into on scroll. Do not ship the bare hero without the work behind it.
